なぜ京都を描くのか？それは京都が西安と友好都市を結んでいるからだけではない。さらに、そこには唐時代の面影がたくさん秘められているからだ。かつて我々が手のひらに捧げていたのに、時の流れの中でうっかり失ってしまった細部が、京都の路地裏や軒下に静かに眠っているのだ。 それを描くのは、それら馴染みのある輪郭に沿って、失われた文化的記憶を少しずつ拾い戻したいからです。世界に、中国文化の中にある自信と包容力に満ちた底色が一度も褪せていないことを見せたいからです。さらには、筆と紙で橋を架け、山海を隔てた想いが絵の上をゆっくりと流れるようにしたいからです。 これらの理由の最深部には、日本で勉強している息子への作者の思いが秘められています。京都を描く一筆一筆が、二人の距離をそっと縮めているように感じるし、息子もこの中に参加していれば、この融合をより理解し、遠い故郷をさらに懐かしむだろうと思うのです。 Why paint Kyoto? Not only because Kyoto and Xi'an are sister cities, but more so because it harbors so many traces ofthe Tang Dynasty-those details we once held dear, yet carelessly lost in the flow of time, now rest quietly in the lanesand under the eaves of Kyoto. Painting it is an attempt to follow those familiar outlines and gradually retrieve the lost cultural memories. It's toshow the world that the confident and inclusive essence of Chinese culture has never faded. What's more, it's to builda bridge with brush and paper, allowing feelings across mountains and seas to flow slowly on the painting. Deepest among these reasons is the artist's longing for his son, who is studying in Japan. He always feels that everystroke of Kyoto he paints quietly shortens the distance between them, and that if his son were part of this process,hewould better understand such cultural integration and miss his distant hometown even more. 为什么要画京都？不仅因京都与西安缔结友城，更因那里藏着太多唐时的影子，那些我们曾捧在手心，却在时光里不小心弄丢的细节，正安安静静待在京都的街巷和屋檐下。 画它，是想顺着那些熟悉的轮廓，把失落的文化记忆一点点捡回来；是想让世界看看，中国文化里那份自信包容的底色从未褪去；更是想用纸笔搭桥，让隔着山海的心意，在画纸上慢慢流淌。 而这些理由的最深处，藏着作者对在日本求学的儿子的念想-总觉得画下京都的每一笔，都在悄悄拉近他们的距离；总觉得儿子也参与其中，就能更懂这份融合，更念远方的家乡。
